My last weekend in S.U.P.P.

The last weekend started on friday when we went to the chapel at 9:00 to 10:30 am. At 2:00 pm we learn how to play baseball, and play a small game between boys and girls, and we won 20-2. At 5:00pm we went out to view the baseball game, that was very boring and the Dodgers lost 7-2 with the Washington Nationals.

                                                

On saturday we went to a old-western museum it was a little boring, but I learn some things like when was the gold fever, how they dress, etc. After that we came to a Mall, there weren't nothing interesting, and it was also very expensive.

On sunday we went to a church, and we ate there, it was very funny and they served Chinese food. When we came back we had free time, and then study session like every day. And that was my last weekend here in SUPP.
I really appreciate the people here because they are very funny, and friendly. Also it was very interesting lived with a person from other country. I really miss my family, my friends, my bed, my food and my mother's hugs. I really learn how to clean my clothes, also be more independent, and less shy.

Class Discussions

I think that it was very interesting because I learn some things about other cultures, like traditionals foods, and traditions from taiwan, and also american culture. I learn lots of things from SUPP like take my time to study, be organized and to be on time. Also I could share my own culture with new people, and I could compare and contrast them. I think that it was an interesting class, we could see differents points of view about one topic. I learned that each other have a different possition and we could disscus it.

American culture Workshop

Hi again! I'm learning about north american culture and also taiwanesse culture, they are very nice people, organize and clean too.
It's good to be with a taiwanesse because you talk everytime in english, and  you can improve your vocabulary. Also I found a new friend, who shows me how the taiwanesse culture is.
This week in american culture we had been learning about sleeping stories, San Valentine's day and also swing music. It was very interesting because we could discover differences and similarities between american and argentinian culture. For example, I learned that in Saint valentine's day people make presents each other, like chocolates, roses and bears, and also, sometimes, they make letters to their friends too. So it is interesting because it is calebrated the same day that in agrentina and we could compare it.
The Swing class today was funny to, because we learned the main steps and then we practised with our friends.

The Weekend

  Last weekend started at 3pm. on Friday when we went to Hollywood to the wax museum called madame Toussands we saw lots of famous people and also we took some pictures with them. Then we had dinner in Mc Donals and walked in the walk of fame.
  On Saturday we went to the Getty Center it is an art museum, we watched lots of paints and scultures, and then we heard a concert, and spent all the evening there.
  On Sunday we spend all the day in the university sleeping and "studying". So the weekend was so funny, I really liked it, hope that the next weekend will be as funny as the last.

July 4th

  We went to a park, for independence day. We go all together with the people in S.U.P.P. We play basketball, football and soccer among other things. I see the best fireworks I've ever seen. We eat all traditional food in the U.S.A. I learned that all north American people are very respectful with his flag and his anthem. I didn't like that it was too hot.
